Rajasthan Stenographer Syllabus 2026: Rajasthan Stenographer Syllabus 2026 Competitive Examination for the posts of Stenographers Grade-III/Stenographers Grade-II shall consist of the subjects given in two alternative Groups A and B. A candidate shall be required to pass the subject group of the post applied for and required to pass Group C compulsorily.
Group A consists of the English Shorthand Test carrying a total of 100 marks. It includes two papers. The first paper is the Dictation of Passage, which is conducted for 6 minutes at a speed of 80 words per minute. The second paper is Transcription and Typing of the Dictated Passage in English on a Computer, which is allotted 50 minutes.
Group B consists of the Hindi Shorthand Test carrying a total of 100 marks. It also includes two papers. The first paper is the Dictation of Passage, conducted for 6 minutes at a speed of 70 words per minute. The second paper is Transcription and Typing of the Dictated Passage in Hindi on a Computer, for which 50 minutes are provided.
Group C consists of a Computer Test carrying a total of 100 marks, divided into two papers of 50 marks each. The first paper is the Speed Test, which is conducted for 10 minutes, while the second paper is the Efficiency Test, also conducted for 10 minutes. The minimum qualifying marks for each paper are 20 marks for SC/ST and PwBD candidates and 22.5 marks for all other candidates.
